About Enterprise Study

Enterprise Study was set up in April 2002 to exploit a gap in the market for training business administration systems. Richard Williams and Steve Hurcombe, formerly employees with leading training provider QA, realised that there was great potential for training providers to reduce costs and improve customer service through the use of modern, e-business, web-based training systems.

Enterprise Study is headquartered in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, and is managed by the following board-level directors.

Mike Cheeseman, Non-Executive Chairman,
Mike co-founded QA Training in 1985 having gained considerable experience at Intel where he was UK systems engineering manager and USA customer training manager. He became operations director and managing director at QA Training and is regarded as a leading expert in finance and operations in the IT industry. In 1997 Mike sold QA and moved into a business angel role, investing in and assisting start-up companies in the IT and training fields.

Richard Williams, Sales & Marketing Director
Richard co-founded Enterprise Study following a successful career in the training industry as a business manager, customer relationship manager and consultant for e-business & e-learning. It was while managing the training for major FTSE 100 clients that he became interested in the World Wide Web and the power it could bring to the global marketplace. In his previous employment at QA, Richard headed up a team of consultants that managed e-business sales and marketing.

Steve Hurcombe, Technical Director
Steve co-founded Enterprise Study after seeing the potential for modern systems at QA where he built the training industry's first real-time e-commerce platform. With a great interest in advanced systems and languages, Steve has a long history of building successful systems to make it easier to run training businesses.

Henry Jodrell, Non-Executive Director
Henry is an experienced company director with a unique combination of skills acquired as a result of a successful career in both the armed forces and the IT training industry. He is now co-owner and director of Broadskill, the largest supplier of freelance IT trainers in the UK.
